The Arlington CIC Book Club is now up and running! A meeting was held last month to agree a format for the club and how the books are to be chosen to read and discussed.

Because we have no permanent home at the moment, the National Trust have kindly allowed us to use the Lime Store at the rear of the Carriage Museum as a temporary base for the Book Club. Its got heating and lighting – so thank you to the NT!

The first meeting is on Monday 14 April at 7.00pm in the Lime Store; bring your own refreshments.

The Salt Path by Raynor Winn was chosen as this month’s book.

We would like to convert an unused barn on National Trust land in Arlington North Devon to create a community hub for the people of Arlington so that we can meet, know and support one another.

We want our community barn space as a hub for a range of regular events to support and engage the local community.
